that game was REALLYYYY confusing, the graph that it told me to use to figure out what time the fossil was from was really small so it got confusing... :D
The game was pretty fun, but like Ryan said dating the fossils was kind of hard. It must be hard to do this in real life, too, though. The order of events was pretty easy, but fun, especially when there were events other than "Formation" events.
it was really weird and stuff. I didn't get the part(s) about the time periods (I didn't know that the was an era/period called Pennsylvanian), but the rest was simple enough : )
like what Jiaming, Gabby and Ryan said, this game was pretty confusing, but it was really helpful and fun. It must be a lot of fun to be an arcaeologist, and to dig up fossils and other artifacts and date them. -Annique
Cool game! Thanks, Leslie. The first level was easy, but I couldn't really get the second one. I can imagine how hard it must be for archeologists! It seems like it would be a fun job, though.
I don't actually have the suitable plugins for this, but it's about relative dating right?
ReplyDeleteSadly I couldn't see it but thanks anyways Leslie

ReplyDeleteThat game was really fun Leslie! It really helped me understand relative dating better!
ReplyDeletethats a neat simulation
ReplyDeleteDo you have to install that addd-on to play the game? I'm pretty sure we learned about relative dating in social studies last year.
ReplyDeletesame, i couldn't view it!
ReplyDeleteill try later with my parents....

I couldn't do this well, but it's awesome and smart how scientists do that to find out the absoulte age of fossils.
ReplyDeleteI finally could see it now.It was kind of confusing, but fun.
ReplyDeletei liked the game it was a lot of fun. really confusing though. thanks leslie
ReplyDeleteLike Ryan said, that game was really confusing. But it's ok. Thanks anyway, Leslie!

I thought this game was cool... It's fasinating to see the different species that came before us and the type of stone their fossils are in... :3
ReplyDeleteThanks!
i really don't get it, i think itmight confuse my dad

I think it's really cool how the further scientists dig, the more the scientists know about our past, and future

I get it now! You have to scroll over the fossils in the biological levels and read the information to see the time period/age the fossil lived in.
ReplyDeleteI tried it, but matching the fossils to their time period was confusing.
